Dear Stephen,
Here I am at the office on a quiet Saturday morning to catch up on some work
and I stumble upon the STHS 1969 page. It's been quite a distraction. I was
one of the quieter ones in the year. In looking at the photos I'm not sure
it is the same year. Everyone is a lot older. Since those days I went to
UNSW where I started in a Commerce Degree, then switched to law when the new
law course started up at Uni. Although he probably doesn't realise it Rob
Hodge was partly responsible for my switch!. On graduation I practised in
Inverell for 4 yrs then came to Nowra where I have been since Oct. '80, in a
practice with 3 partners. My greatest accomplishment: 3 great daughters, 2
married and one still at home, and 30yrs of marriage, just celebrated.

Fantastic to be scanning through and find this website. Have just spent the last 2 hours showing my wife all the information on the site as she has not seen any history of my early years ( married 32 years). To see some of the faces from so many years ago, some that have not changed that much and some that are unrecognisable. Saddened by the list of those not with us any more especially Randell Pedley whom I remember vividly. The photos of chook cohen and tony pearsal take me back to our primary school days as we grew up only streets away in Hurstville. I think the last time I spoke to those guys was in 1968 when I left school.Since leaving school I have changed my name ( parental divorce blah blah blah) and I am now known as Allen McIntosh but at school my name was Joe Mascinskas. I am currently living on a cattle and forestry property between Casino & Kyogle .
I would certainly like to attend the next reunion and will send more information as I dig some archived items out.
Best regards
